Obituary of Berthe Renaud

Peacefully on October 19, 2025, Berthe passed away, now reunited with her loving best friend and soulmate, Elaine Yeatman, who predeceased her in November 2023.

Berthe will be dearly missed by her friends Wilma, Lisa, Tracy, and Barb, who will cherish the many memories shared over the years.

In the fall of 1992, Berthe and Elaine moved from Ottawa to their beloved hobby farm in Darling Township, where they enjoyed many years together surrounded by nature and the simple joys of rural life. As their health declined, they relocated to Perth in July 2014, and Berthe later made her home at Lanark Lodge in 2017, where she was cared for with compassion and kindness.

Berthe had a deep love of music and travel, and she was a proud member of the Lanark Highlands Kitchen Band, where she delighted audiences playing the washboard with her signature enthusiasm.
