Acorn, Amon Leslie
September 15, 1942 - October 28, 2025
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Amon at Lanark Lodge in Perth on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at the age of 83 years. He was the beloved husband of Marion for over 63 years and the loving father of Wanda Chisholm.  Amon was the cherished Papa of Jess Chisholm and Dan (Britt) Chisholm.
He will be dearly missed by his brother Lester (Ruby) and sisters Margie Nantau and Christine (Ray) Roper.  Amon was predeceased by his parents Leslie and Mildred and his siblings Vernon, Jimmy, Mary and Billy.  He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends he made throughout the years.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Wednesday November 5, 2025 from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M.  A service to honour Amon's life will be held in the Chapel at 11:30 A.M.  A Celebration of Life will follow in the Blair & Son Family Reception Centre.  Interment will take place later at the Murray Harbour Cemetery, Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island. In honour of Amon, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Society of LLG or the Lanark Lodge (Staff Fund) would be greatly appreciated.
We would also like to extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Lanark Lodge, Maples Unit for their exemplary love and care provided to Amon.
