Obituary of Claude James Holmes

Claude passed away in the Perth hospital on Saturday November 1st, 2025 at the age of 75.  He was the son of the late Allan and Dorothy Holmes.  Claude will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Deborah (Darou) Holmes, step-children Victoria and Eric Ringer and brother Earl (Sylvia) Holmes.  He was uncle of Lorraine (Morley) Kimmett and Richard (Nicole) Holmes, great uncle to Brooklyn Holmes,  great great uncle to Alaina Strucke and brother-in-law of Karen (Wayne) Stinson, Bill Darou, Steve (Christa) Darou and their children Tom, Luke and Jake.  Claude will be fondly remembered by all his family and many friends.  

Family and friends will gather at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Friday November 7th, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. for a service to honour Claude’s life.  Interment will take place later in Horton Cemetery, Renfrew.  

In remembrance of Claude, memorial donations to L.A.W.S. (Lanark Animal Welfare Society) or the Perth Lanark Minor Hockey Association would be appreciated.  The family wish to thank all of Claude’s caregivers and those who offered support during the past weeks.
