Evelyn was a lovely lady in every sense of the word. I remember Carley telling me how as a child Spencer found a pretty rock; Evelyn spirited it away and transformed it into the cutest miniature gnome before returning it. Truly a magical moment for a young child, and to me it perfectly summed up her personality. My sincere condolences to Evelyn’s family. Carley and I became fast friends due in no small part to how close we both were with our mothers. I know how much she will be missed.

Dear Carly and Randy, I am sorry to learn of your Mom’s passing. I remember how my Dad would go to her store at Christmas and she would help him pick out a gift for my mother. Mom told the story of how she and Dad lived in an apartment across from your parents back in the 50’s and how she fed baby Randy. Your mother always had a smile and a warm greeting whenever I saw her. I know you will miss her. May your good memories give you solace.
