Irvine, James Stewart

August 25, 1982 – October 17, 2025

James family are devastated to announce his tragic death in Calgary, Alberta.

He leaves behind his wife Rio Arboleras Irvine and her daughter Hilary Rain, devoted parents William and Susan Irvine (Allan Cullen), loyal older brother Thomas Irvine (Jessica) and lastly his trusty sidekick Molson. He is also survived by his aunts, and uncles: Linda-Anne Clarke, Stanley Irvine (Connie), Glen Irvine (Joan), plus many cousins. Predeceased by loving grandparents Lorne and Marjorie Hunt and Allan and Elma McFadden (Irvine). He will truly be missed by his childhood friends and his many made in Calgary and surrounding area; especially Pam Martin (Auntie) and James Gillingwater.

His laughter, mischievous deeds and adventures will be remembered and talked about for years to come. A celebration of life by Lynsey Jackson (Jackson Masonry) and many co-workers past and present was held on Friday, October 24, 2025. All are welcome to attend a memorial service to be held at Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N. Smiths Falls, ON, on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the chapel, followed by a reception and celebration of his life. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Smiths Falls at a later date. In memory of James, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army-Mississippi Rideau Lakes or Lanark Animal Welfare Society.
