Lee passed away peacefully at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital on November 11, 2025. Husband of Barbara Hitchins, father of Kyana Hitchins, Jodi (Jason) Drummond and Beverley Hitchins, step-father of Adam Cousins, grandpa/papa of Henley, Morgan, Cassidy, Luke, Nick, Josh and Liam, great grandfather of Kayden, Maci-Lynn, Oliver and Payzlee Rae, brother of Cyndi Hitchins and Bill Hitchins. Predeceased by his father Art Hitchins and mother Dorothy Hitchins (Smith), brothers Jay Hitchins and Al Walker. Lee will be sadly missed by his friends and extended family. As per Lee’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on May 30, 2026 from 1pm-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Smiths Falls. Donations in memory of Lee can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95, Smiths Falls. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Smiths Falls.
