Obituary of Karen Johanna Schokking

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and tragic passing of Karen in rural Smiths Falls on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the age of 61. She will be deeply missed by her children Samantha (Onno) Versluijs and Taylor "Griffin" Schokking.  She took so much pride in her children and grandchildren, and cherished being Nana to her three granddaughters Liliana, Nova and Eden Versluijs. She was the daughter of the late Jan and Johanna “Hanny” Schokking.  She was predeceased by her sister, Yente Schokking.  Also left to mourn this loss, are her five brothers and their families. There will be a private Celebration of Life for the family, taking place in the spring of 2026, with a private interment at Maple Vale Cemetery.
