Obituary of Philip Alfred Hall

Philip Alfred Hall, born August 14th, 1958, peacefully passed away the evening of November 20th 2025 under the care of Lanark Lodge. He was predeceased by his parents John & Myrtle (Hermer) Hall, and his brother Stanley. Philip was the beloved father of twins Mason & Chantelle Hall (Ben Jahn), and grandfather of Ryder, Camryn and Beau. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Kevin (Kim) Frank (Karan) Nancy Hall, & sister-in-law Nancy Durant-Hall.

Philip leaves behind a legacy of love and craftsmanship. Known by those closest to him as “Frito”, he was a master mason, skilled carpenter, and a man for his family. His son Mason shares his passion for the craft, and his family will always remember his sarcastic sense of humour. Due to medical reasons, he retired and in the more recent years has occupied his time with the love of his grandkids. His grandkids were the pride-and-joy of his life and could be proven by the size of his smile in their presence.

 A heartfelt thank you from our family goes out to the staff of Lanark Lodge for all they did to provide Philip with the best care possible since he arrived to his forever home in 2018.

As per his wishes the services will be private for the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
