Obituary of Wilma Margaret Munro
Wilma Margaret Munro (nee Petrie) RN
June 6th 1935 – November 21st 2025
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our mother at the Perth hospital in her 91st year. Wilma was predeceased by her husband Clarence Munro. She was the loved mother of
David (Shirley), Susan, Jane (Tim) McCann and Donna (Tim) Prior. She was the cherished grandmother of Allan Munro, Stefanie Malloch, Jessicah Mullins, Nathan and Taylor Prior, Emily Brophy and predeceased by Spencer Munro. Wilma was also the proud great grandmother “Momma” of eighteen great grandchildren. Wilma grew up in Cornwall Ontario and graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Brockville General Hospital. It was during this time that she met her husband and moved to Dewitts Corners of Perth. Wilma farmed along side Clarence in dairy, beef and Ontario Pork. She was an active member of the Calvin United Church. Wilma loved family gatherings and being surrounded by loved ones.
Friends and family may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West on Wednesday, November 26th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, November 27th at 11:00 AM. Interment Scotch Line Cemetery.
