Obituary of Steven Herbert Fox

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Steve Fox on November 21st, 2025 at the age of 65 years.

Beloved husband and best friend of 41 years to Kathy. Forever remembered by children: Cody (April) and Kylie (Jordan); grandchildren: Frankie, and Lindy; sister, Colleen (Ken); parents-in-law: Eunice and Marvin Duffy; sister and brother-in-law: Tammy (Steve) Magocs, his inseparable dog: Snoopy, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Candy (Aubrey), and Carolyn, and his parents, Herbert and Eunice.

Steve was a builder, having built several homes for his growing family and working in masonry with his dearly loved uncle Mort and nephew Cory in his early life. Steve encountered several health issues as he got older, culminating in a double lung transplant in 2018. We are forever grateful to his donor and their family for giving us 7 more years of special memories, including the weddings of his children and the birth of his cherished grandchildren.

The family wishes to send a thank you to the doctors, specialists, and nurses and all of Steve’s family and friends for their care and compassion during his health journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made in Steve’s name to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation - Perth Site, 33 Drummond Street West, Perth, ON K7H 2K1. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
