Obituary of Ian Frank John Gillis

Gillis, Ian Frank John
Ian passed away suddenly at his residence near Perth on Monday, December 1st, 2025 at the age of 71 years.  He was the loved husband of Roberta (Robinson) Gillis and father of Sarah and Adam (Noelle).  Ian was the cherished grandfather of Nova, Khloe, Caleb and Kate.
He will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ian worked for the Canadian Coast Guard for over 40 years, first in Victoria then in Ottawa until his retirement.  He enjoyed woodworking, electronics (gadgets), fishing and being on the water. 
As per Ian's wishes there will be no services at this time.  
In remembrance of Ian, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Kingston Health Science Centre - Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
