Obituary of John Albert

Passed away peacefully at his home in Smiths Falls, surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the age of 66.  Beloved husband and best friend of Kim (nee Peoples) Albert.  Loving and devoted father of Donald Campbell (Victoria Phillips) and Ashley McGrayne.  Cherished grandfather of Dominic Bernhardt (Skye Stoddard), Natalie Bernhardt and Dawson Campbell; and proud great-grandfather of Emery Bernhardt.  John will be sadly missed by his siblings Keith (Pam) Albert, Debbie Albert-Snow (late Rob) and Cathy (Dave) Talbot. John will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.  John was the anchor of the Albert family and loved spending time with family and friends.  Where he and Kim found the most peace in their lives was being out in nature and enjoying time on his ATV.  All are welcome to join with the family for a Celebration of Life at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m.  There will be a private interment to take place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
