With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of André Pavelich at the Perth Community Care Centre on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the age of 72.

André was the beloved husband of Carol Pavelich (née Cassidy) and a loving father to Christina Jessome (Kevin) and Wendy Pavelich. He will be sadly missed by his cherished grandchildren, Cassidy Jessome (Jessica) and Donna-Marie Jessome.

André was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Rita Pavelich, and by his sister, Nicole Frazier. He is fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

André was the founder of André J. Pavelich Enterprises Ltd., a family-run business specializing in cleaning kitchen exhaust systems for restaurants. He dedicated himself to the business until his retirement in November 2023. The family extends their sincere thanks to the many loyal customers throughout the Ottawa Valley and surrounding areas for their support over the past 35 years.

The family would also like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the Perth Community Care Centre for their compassionate care.

André will be remembered for his deep love of the Montreal Canadiens and for the pride he took in his family and work.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church at 3529 McBean St, Richmond for a service to honour André’s life. A reception and sharing of memories will follow in the church hall.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Association of the Deaf or the Alzheimer Society of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville.  Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Smiths Falls.
