Obituary of Kenneth Glenn Sample

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth Glenn Sample on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 63.

Ken was the beloved husband of the late Stacy Sample (née Breton) and a loving and devoted father to Kristopher Sample (Robyn), Kurtis Sample (Charlotte), Dylan Sample, and his three stepsons, Andrew, William and Samuel Bradt (Megan). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Violet and Rosie Bradt, Ellie Joynt Sample, and Dorothy Sample.

Ken was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Glenola Sample (née Kilfoyle), and by his sister, Elaine Sample. Ken will be sadly missed by his siblings Bob (Mary Lu) Sample, Lynda Grant (Dan), Bill (Jane) Sample, and Julie Sample (Kevin). He is fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and his dear friend Juanita. Ken spent 23 years working for Weatherstrong and thought fondly of his crew.

Ken will be remembered for his unwavering support for his Boston Bruins, his love for classic rock, and most of all, the love and support that he had for his family. Our loving memories will be deeply cherished, and we wish we had time for more. Fly high, free bird, until we meet again. Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 12 noon. Private interment will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation.
