Obituary of Kenneth Bickford

Ken, following his somewhat unusual belief in an afterlife to be spent bonding with aliens, launched his spirit from the Perth Hospital on November 17th. He enjoyed a long career with the City of Nepean and was one of the first to graduate from the horticulture program at Algonquin College.  He was the beloved and supportive partner to Carol Richardson for over thirty years and he leaves behind his cherished daughters, Shannah, Jodie (Brandon), and his granddaughter Zoe. 

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Perth Hospital for their dedication and care.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held in the spring of 2026. In memory of Ken, any support in re-establishing the Algonquin College Perth Campus, contributions to the Perth Table Community Food Centre or to Independent Jewish Voices Canada would be much appreciated.
