Obituary of Gary Kenneth Tysick

Gary passed away early morning on January 2nd at the age of 81, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Anne (nee Hoffman), who stood by his side through it all. He leaves behind his children, Allison (Mike), Trevor (Angel), Lawrence, Kenneth (Dorothy), Darlene (Peter), Mark, and his "Grand" daughter Hope - Anne (Zach). He will be missed by his Grandchildren, his Great Grandchildren and by his siblings, Linda Thompson, Chris Tysick, Judy Purdy and furbaby "Buddy" Sylvester.

Gary is predeceased by his parents, Ken and Vi Tysick, his sister, Jenny Laing (the late Bill Dorman) and by his infant daughter, Wendy.

Gary was the proud owner of Gary's Auto Body.

All are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth, on Thursday, January 8th, 2026 from 10:00AM - 11:00AM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel immediately following at 11:00AM. Interment will take place at Prestonvale Cemetery. In honour of Gary, memorial contributions to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation, Perth Site, or to any charity of your choice would be appreciated.
