Obituary of Douglas Charles Craig
On the morning of Sunday January 4th, 2026, at his home on Bobs Lake, surrounded by his wife & children Doug/Dougie moved onto his next adventure. He always loved a Sunday morning.
He was the cherished husband and best friend of Lori (nee McMunn), and the fiercely devoted father of Shawn (Amanda), Meghan (JP), Kirsten and Charlee (Igor). Doug was the spirited & generous grandfather to Abby, Noah, Eli, Elizabeth “Gus”, Matthew, Kate, Abigail & Jet and the dear brother of the late Jack (Lorna), the late Diane (the late Jim), Dave (Deb), Debra (Rick), Robert (Georgette), Susan (Kirk), Linda (Dan), Corrine (Andy), Judy (Kevin), Deborah (Scott), and Paul (Chrissy). He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Anna (nee Bates) and Helen Cameron (nee Stroud). Son-in-law to Larry (Carol) and the late Margaret (nee Somerville) and will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. In honour of Doug, memorial contributions to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
