Obituary of Joseph Wilfred Pelletier
It is with profound sadness, but enormous gratitude that we announce the passing of Joseph Wilfred Pelletier. His struggles on earth are over and he moved to his glorious new home in Heaven, January 10, 2026. Joe was a rich man because he was loved by so many, family and friends alike.
Cherished husband and best friend to Maya. As the love of her life, he leaves an immense pool void. He will be greatly missed by his father Roger and step-mom Donna, father-in-law Walter and sisters Shelly and Janice. Predeceased by his mother Eleanor, and brothers Stephen and David.
Family was very important to Joe and he loved them with all of his heart, including his aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and in-laws, here in Canada and abroad. Joe had a deep love for God and his church family and friends.
On Joe’s behalf, his family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of the wonderful people involved in his care over the years.
A visitation will be held at the Smiths Falls Free Methodist Church, 573 County Road 29, Smiths Falls, on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for people wishing to say their goodbyes, followed by a very informal celebration of Joe’s life, and sharing of remembrance.
In lieu of flowers, Joe’s wish was that donations be made to Jericho Road Ministries or Food for the Hungry. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Smiths Falls.
