Obituary of Velma Ellen Healey

Healey, Velma E.

Velma passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the age of 94.  Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) Healey.  Loved and respected mother of Linda (the late Reuben) Orr, Susan (Dwayne) Abel, Nancy (Greg) Clark, Bill (Heather) Healey and Stephen (Lisa) Healey.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren Joel (April), Anne (Derek), Rob (Gwen), Sarah (Mario), Bryce (Allison), Michelle (Dave), Erik, Dawn Marie (Tyler), Kelsey (Kurtis), great-grandchildren Landon, Harper, Quinn, Connor, Alex (Gracie), Aidan (Annika), Austin, Owen, Anna, Logan, Daniel and Wyatt.  Dear sister of Dorothy McLagan (Jim Parish) and fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. 

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Monday, January 26, 2026 from 10:00 a.m.until service in the chapel at 12:00 noon.  Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Reception Centre.  In memory of Velma, donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters or Bethel United Church, Rideau Ferry would be appreciated.
