Obituary of John Andrew Lacombe

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Andrew Lacombe, of Ottawa, Ontario, on January 21, 2026, at the age of 62.

John was predeceased by his parents, John and Violet (nee Wausmund ) Lacombe, his brothers Reginald, Richard, and Lucien, his sisters Gladys and Josephine, and his grandson George.

He will be fondly remembered by his siblings; Carol Anne (Dennis) Rheaume, Donna Mae Cameron, Norine Gagnon, Glenna Mintha, Jacqueline (Chris) Taylor, Jean Ouimet, and Marie (Glen) Gallagher.

John was a devoted father to John and James (Danielle) Lacombe. He will be missed by his grandsons Jordan, Everett and Gregory, along with his many nieces, nephews. He loved watching hockey and football, especially when it meant gathering with others, sharing laughs, and enjoying time with family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
