To Nancy, Amie, Jenna, grandkids, as well as all Stan’s relatives, so sorry to hear of Stan’s passing. We were neighbours for many years and saw Stan many times driving past our home, usually with a wave or a stop and chat. We also had the odd street hockey gatherings on Montgomery Place on weekends. Stan was always there to help out if anyone needed a hand with anything. Sending sincere condolences. Hold tight to each other and your wonderful memories to help you in the days and weeks ahead. Take good care.

I used to walk my little dog Buttercup past Stan and Nancy's house every day when I lived on Gladstone. Stan would come to the end of the driveway to chat or sometimes just wave if he was polishing his Corvette. What a kind man. Of course I have known Nancy for many years. You will be missed Stan

We had so many good times when we were neighbours. Deb and I always said he was like the ‘dad’ to all of us! Whether snow, lawn, tools, the corvette or a quick chat on the porch, Stan was always a man you could count on. He will be missed. Courage and strength to Nancy and family at this challenging time.

Dear Nancy and family,
I’m so shocked by this. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. Stan was one of the good guys. My mother could not have lived across from you for as long as she did if it hadn’t been for Stan helping her. And, she was so appreciative of his kindness. My brothers and I have always been so thankful for him always being there for her. And, he continued doing what he did for mom by doing the same for the new owner of mom’s house. He definitely was the “Mayor” of Montgomery Place, and he certainly will be missed on that street.
Rest in peace Stan, and fly high with those angels. If you see mom up there, she’ll probably have a dozen of her buns for you.
Sincerely,
Terri Bennett

Nancy, Amy and Jenna along with all left to mourn Stan’s passing please accept our sincere condolences. Stan and his family were our neighbours for over twenty five years on Montgomery Place. Yes Stan was the Mayor of our street. From snow blowing, to road hockey to being there for the neighbours Stan could always be counted on no matter the request. He was a larger than life presence in our boys’ lives.
Mary and I are away but we will take the time to remember our neighbour and good friend.
Condolences to All.
