Ona passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday February 4, 2026 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Edward Closs. She was the dearly loved mother of Maxine (David) Lewis of Perth, Harold (Carolyn) Closs of Shawville, Que. and George (Gayle) Closs of Waterford.

 Cherished grandmother of Tanya (Anthony) Hinton, Leanne (Varugis) George, Alexandra (Dave) Theoret, Cory (Kim) Closs, Jocelyn (Mac) Robinson and Meredith (Kyle) Closs, Emily (George) Wright and James (Emily) Closs; great-grandmother of Zachary Closs, Aliya and Olivia Hinton, Stella, Thatcher and Zoey Closs, Miriam and Audrey Theoret, Daniel, Hannah and Nora Wright, Alexa, Ryan and Clara Closs, Lanny and Winnifred Robinson.

Ona was predeceased by her brother Elmer and his wife Barbara Abercrombie, her sister-in-law Eunice and her husband Donald Bennett. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Tuesday, Feb 17th, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:30 A.M.  Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 11:30 A.M. Interment, Scotch Line Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to Calvin United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
