Ken passed away peacefully surrounded by the love, light and support of his cherished family and friends  at home in Perth Ontario on Sunday, January 25, 2026 in his 95th year. Ken was predeceased by the love of his life, Muriel Lillian Warrington Greer who passed away suddenly on November 2, 2013, and by Ken and Muriel‘s cherished sons,  Howie Greer who died suddenly, March 27, 2010 and Jeff Greer “Greasy” who died suddenly on May 31, 2021 at Perth, ON. Ken is survived by his only daughter, Patricia “Patti” Joy Greer, son-in-law Chris Strong and their two children Lilli (Ethan) and Davidson (Mal), Howie’s children, Ciara (Pat and their daughter Val) and Shannon (Garrett) and by Jeff’s daughters, Sydney and Megan (her daughter Ray). He was the oldest brother of the late Mary (late Gerry) Tremblay, late Burns (late Edith) Greer, late Frank (late Rose) Greer, Norman (Jan) Greer, late Howard (late Mary), Marilyn (Barry) Joynt, and Patsy (Ed) Smith. He was the brother-in-law of the late Dorothy (late Fonzy) Gemmill, late John (Jean) Warrington, late Mary (late Clifford) Allan, late Ada (late Bud) Fleming, late Phyllis (Murray) Strong, late Kenny (Donna Ennis) Warrington late Gerald (Ann) Warrington. He will also be missed by over 50 nieces and nephews. Patti and family would like to thank Ontario Health at Home, the nurses and doctors at both sites of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, and Doctor Oh, Kelly Moore and Bayshore Health, Sarah Code and Karen Sargeant for supporting Dad’s wishes to die at his home. We would also like to acknowledge the support Dad received from his neighbours and extended community to enable him to remain in his home until his very last breath. There will be a spring internment at Saint Stephen’s Cemetery in Brooke and a celebration of life for Ken and his family and friends at a time and place to be determined. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
