It is with deep sorrow that the family of Larry Skinner announce his passing at Lanark Lodge

On February 10, 2026 at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of Inge (nee Olsen) and the loving father of Stephen and Jeffrey (Kelli). Larry was the treasured grandfather of Darren (Kelsey), Kelsey, Callum, Max and Simon and the dear great-grandfather of Darwin. He will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Kirsten Cougher (Greg Cushing) and brother-in-law Ernst Olsen (Carole). Larry was predeceased by his parents and siblings. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family wish to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at Lanark Lodge for their compassion, support and care over the years.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be held in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions to the Parkinson’s Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
