
Obituary of Beverley Ann Nadeau
Living a life rooted in love, faith and devotion to family, Beverley passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Roger who predeceased her in 2009. Beverley was a loving and devoted mother to Timothy, Teresa (Mike), Joe (Shelley) and Robert. She was the cherished grandmother of Jazzmin (Nick), David (Lauren), Daniel (Kathleen), Cassidy (Sebastien), Nicholas (Emmaleigh), Alyssa (Tony), Brett (Brittany) and Gabrielle (Mason). She was predeceased by her firstborn grandchild Joshua in 2000. She was blessed to be “Nan” to her great-grandchildren Rowan, Emerson, Charlie Jane, Briggs, Isla and Indy and was looking forward to the arrival of two new baby girls within the next few weeks.
Beverley was predeceased by her parents Harold (2000) and Georgina (1994) Cassidy and was the oldest of her siblings Carol (late Wes), Leona (Jay), late Michael (Kelly), late Patrick (Patricia) and Danny. Beverley will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, extended family and friends.
Beverley was a long-time employee of Canadian Tire and often joked about breaking in several new owners. Beverley will be missed by her community of aquafit friends. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Drs. Miller and Ryan, ICU nurses Iveta, Laura, Stephanie, Megan, Sean and Daniel for their kindness and compassionate care. Also to Fr. Brian McNally for his comforting visits and spiritual support.
Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church on Friday at 11 a.m. There will be a reception immediately following at Hanley Hall. At the conclusion of the reception, interment will take place at Blessed Sacrament Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Perth and Smiths Falls Hospital Foundation Smiths Falls Site or the St. Francis de Sales Church Building Maintenance Fund.
