Obituary of Stephen Tysick

Passed away February 19, 2026, at the Smiths Falls site of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital. Lovingly remembered by wife Kathy. Devoted father to son Nicholas and daughter-in-law Holly. Cherished grandfather of Sarah and Lucy. Beloved brother of Dennis (Ann) and sister Doris. Predeceased by parents Arnold and Hazel. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins, and his special animal companion Christy.

Stephen was a proud employee Canada Dry for 10 years and then worked at MTO for 30 years. Stephen had many cherished memories from his summers and time spent at Christie Lake with family and friends, boating and enjoying the cottage.

Friends and family may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls, Monday, February 23, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church, Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a reception at Hanley Hall from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.
