Wright, Marion F. (McLaren)
Marion passed away following a short illness in the Perth hospital on Saturday February 21st, 2026 at the age of 97 years. She was predeceased by her parents May (Dowdall) and James McLaren, her beloved husband Lorne and sisters Joyce (John) Findlay and Audrey (Orville) Ferrier. Marion will be dearly missed by her family; her daughters Judith (Bryan) Hogan, Donna (Al) Perry, Janet (Larry) Fricker and Lorna Spence; grandchildren Crystal Craig, Kendra Spence and Victoria Barber; great-grandchildren Spencer Aaron Price and Ezra Rose Barber; sisters-in-law Jean Wright and Pauline Wright; brothers-in-law Allan Moore and Ken (Brenda) Wright; all her extended family and many friends.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Thursday February 26th, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. James Anglican Church, Perth on Friday February 27th, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. followed by a reception in the Good Shepherd Hall of the church. Interment will take place in the spring in St. Stephens Cemetery, Brooke. Memorial donations to honour Marion’s life would be appreciated to St. James Anglican Church, Perth or the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital (Perth site).
