Obituary of Marie Theresa Foley (nee Dubeau)

Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the age of 70. Beloved and devoted wife of more than 50 years to Doug Foley. Loving and caring mother of Rob (Sara) Foley and proud grandmother to Lilly and Gavin. Marie is survived by her sisters Noella Crawford and Anne Dumouchel.  She is predeceased by her parents Archille and Viola (nee Dagenais), her sisters Alma Dubeau and Ella Arbour and her brother Daniel Dubeau. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Monday, March 9, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 160 Front St., Campbell’s Bay Quebec on Tuesday at 1 p.m.  A reception will follow in the Campbell’s Bay RA Hall.  Private interment will take place at the parish cemetery at a later date. Marie’s family would like to thank the Dr. Xu and Leslie and Courtney and the entire Bayshore team for their care and concern for Marie during her courageous battle with cancer.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. John the Evangelist Cemetery Fund.
