Wayne Brian Burns

March 22, 1951 - February 28, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne, who passed away suddenly at the Perth Hospital in his 75th year.  Wayne had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. He always found peace in simple pleasures such as spending time on the beach and listening to music. Wayne was a talented and capable man who could build, repair, or restore whatever he put his mind to. His passions and skills were qualities he proudly passed along to his sons.   
He was the loving father of Christopher (Jessica), James, and Kalem.  He was a proud grandfather to Logan, Austin, Ella, and Nola. He was the cherished brother of David (Tammy) and uncle to Jesse (Ashley). He will be missed by his dear friend Don Hendry, with whom he shared many good times. 
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the incredible medical care team in the ICU at the Perth Hospital for the care and compassion they showed Wayne in his final days.  In accordance with Wayne's final wishes, cremation has taken place, and the family will honour his memory privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to Blair and Sons Funeral Homes, Perth.
