Obituary of Glenn Wilkes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenn Wilkes on March 4, 2026, at the age of 72.

Glenn leaves behind a large family who will love and support each other during this difficult time, just as he always did for his family and loved ones.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Veronica (nee Dales), and was the loved stepfather to Michael, Jennifer (Paul), Samantha (Stephen), Laura (Trevor), and Catie (Ryan); the proud grandpa to Liam, Connor, Kaleigh, Olivia, Breanna, Maddie, Emma, Sophie, Winnie, and the newest addition arriving August 2026. 

Glenn will be missed by his sisters Lynne (late Larry) Pilon, and Judy (late Garry) Murphy, the Coughlin, Linton, and the Dales families, along with his many nieces and nephews, extended family, his friends, as well as his Rideau Lumber family. 

Glenn was a passionate sports fan who loved his Green Bay Packers, and the Montreal Canadiens. You could often find him on the Lombard Glen Golf Course perfecting his golf game and enjoying many courses abroad. 

A Celebration of Life will be hosted at Blair and Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., in Smiths Falls on Saturday March 14, 2026  from 4-7 p.m., with a sharing of memories at 5:30 p.m. There will be a private interment taking place at a later date.
