Obituary of Anna Smith

Smith, Anna 
Peacefully at the Marianhill long-term care centre in Pembroke on Friday, March 27, 2026 with family by her side at the age of 94.  Beloved wife of the late Malcolm Bruce Smith.  Loved mother of Steven (Ofelia), Daniel (Angela), Susan, and Patti (David).  Cherished grandmother to Anna Rosa, Alexander, Anthony and Keegan, Hannah, Joshua and Dani.  Loved sister of Ronald (Carol) Reusch, John (Pat) Reusch and predeceased by brothers Fred and Ferdi Reusch.  Predeceased by her sister-in-law Irene “Rene” (the late Stan) Tompkins.  Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Anna was a multi-talented artist, crafter and quilter and enjoyed gifting her creations to family and friends.  She enjoyed travelling around the Ottawa Valley and would be often seen at arts and crafts exhibits and fairs.  She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.  Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall 170 Ellis Ave., Pembroke.  Sharing of memories will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.  Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Smiths Falls.
