Obituary of Heather Buchan

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Heather Mary Buchan on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

Heather will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her devoted husband, Gord Buchan. She was the cherished mother to Scott Buchan (and granddaughter Kendra), Murray MacLennan (and grandson Cameron), David MacLennan (and grandsons Connor and Dexton), and Kevin Buchan (and granddaughter Morgan, and great-grandchildren Callum and Charlie).Heather was predeceased by her beloved parents, Ralph and Jeannette Jenkins (Moss), and by her brother, Jay Jenkins.

Heather’s warmth, strength, and love for her family will be forever remembered by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at the Blair and Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W, Perth on Tuesday April 14th at 11AM in the Chapel. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception centre and friends are welcomed to join. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St.Paul's United Church in memory of Heather.
