Joanne passed, at the age of 77, on Monday, April 6th, 2026, at Lanark Lodge, Perth in the presence of family.  She was born on April 13, 1948, in Perth, Ontario, to Patrick and Olive (nee Truelove) Leonard. Joanne was the beloved wife of her husband of 57 years, Lorne Hollywood. She was the loved mother to her son, Craig (Melanie) Hollywood, and cherished Nana to her grandchildren Camryn and Justyn Hollywood.  Joanne spent many years of her life working various roles at the Royal Bank in Perth. She was a long-serving charter and active member of the Perth Lioness (Perth Tay Lioness Lion’s) for many years. Joanne was actively involved with the Bethal United Church in Rideau Ferry. She loved skiing, golfing, and wood carving while spending time with friends and family. Lorne and Joanne enjoyed traveling to Texas each winter with their camper trailer, where they were able to enjoy the nice weather and get a few extra rounds of golf into their year and the opportunity to catch up with friends from around the globe. Joanne was known above all for her deep connection to family and friends and her commitment to her community. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 26th, 2026 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at The Perth Lion’s Hall . A sharing of memories will be held at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation (Perth site), or to the Perth Tay Lioness Lion's.
