Obituary of Marie Karen Patterson (Purcell)

Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the age of 55. Marie was the beloved wife to Andrew Patterson.  She was a loving and devoted mother to Richard (Crystal), Chantel (Jon) and Kaitlyn (Tyler).  Proud Nana to Blake, Autumn, Amelia, Daphne, Norah, Tait, Claire, Braelyn and Miller.  She will be sadly missed by her sister Katherine (Andrew) and her nieces and nephews, Jada, Kale and Luke.  Marie was predeceased by her mother Joan Purcell who passed away in 2020.  Marie will be fondly remembered by her extended family, Andy’s family, her Van horne Family where she was proud to work for more than 25 years, and along with so many friends in the Smiths Falls and surrounding communities. There will be a Celebration of Life taking place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
