Obituary of Marilyn Ellen Bolger

It is with heavy hearts that we announced the passing of Marilyn Ellen Bolger in her 90th year, a long-time resident of Perth.

Marilyn will be deeply missed by her loving children, Steven (Kathryn) and Debra (Bernie).

She was a devoted and cherished Nan to Lindsay (Mark), Sarah (David), Erin (Micheal), David (Brettan) and Christopher (Kelsey), and proud Great Nan to Hudson, Emily, Ryan, Lily, Patrick, Cameron, Lennox and William. 

Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Cyril Patrick Bolger.  Also by her siblings Christine, Grantley, Horace, Marina, Arthur, Bernard and Leonard of the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England, and by her cherished great grandson, Walker Patrick.

Marilyn will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends across England, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and Perth, Ontario. 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the residents and staff at Carolina Court for their friendship, care, and support. Many thanks also to the Emergency staff in Perth, including Dr. Drummond, and the nursing staff and doctors on the 2nd floor of the Smith Falls Hospital for their compassionate care.  Special thanks to her family physician, Dr. Cunniffe for his care over the years. 

As per Marilyn's wishes, there will be no formal service at this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

In memory of Marilyn, memorial contributions would be appreciated by her family to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation.
