Obituary of Raymond Regis Paquette

Paquette, Raymond Regis, LCdr RCN/CF, CD2, BA (retired) of Burlington ON, formerly of Carleton Place, predeceased by his beloved wife Annie Sandra Haladay, (2016), survived by his son Scott (Andrea), grandson Ben, siblings Allison (Tim) and Tedd (Leah). He was a logistician in the Navy for 33 ½ years, serving on both coasts and in a number of ships, YUKON, SAGUENAY, and the third ATHABASKAN. His final years of service were spent at NDHQ Ottawa where he was involved in the CF 18 project, the Canadian Patrol Frigate project and the Tribal Update and Modernization Project. A private family inurnment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery beside Sandra, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. There will be no service. All are welcome to attend Ray’s Celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Blair & Son Reception Centre, 112 Beckwith Street North, Smiths Falls. Donations to the MS Society will be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls.
