Obituary of Wilfred Vincent Hall

It is with profound sadness that the family of Wilfred Vincent Hall announce his sudden passing on Saturday May 2, 2026, at home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 60 years of Joann (nee DeLisle) and the loving father of Mark (Donna), Colleen (Ivan Clark) and Scott. He was the proud grandfather to Ashley (Dustin) Hart, Tori (Craig) King, Jon (Kate) Gorham, Nicholas Clark, Zackary (Taylor) Clark, Lauren Hall (Noah Parson) and Marshall Hall. Wilf was also loved and will be missed by his 7 great grandchildren including Elexa, Bennett and Hudson King, Grace, Delwyn and Walter Hart and Darcie Clark.
Wilf will be missed by his siblings Eva Sullivan (the late Russ), Sheila Kehoe (the late Pat), John Hall (Judy) and sisters-in-law, Kim Hall and Elaine DeLisle. He was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Beulah Hall as well as siblings Lena Hannah (the late Charlie) and Norman Hall. He'll also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, colleagues, and other business associates.
Wilf grew up and still lived on the family homestead on Dalhousie Lake, McDonalds Corners, ON. He met Joann at the Heritage Silver Plant, and they married in 1966. They went on to start their business in 1967, first installing septic systems and then began Wilf Hall Ltd which included the water well drilling business and then later in real estate development with Wilf and Joann creating 4 developments. Mark and Scott both joined the business, which then became Wilf Hall and Sons. Colleen found her own niche working as a Real Estate Appraiser and now owns Rivington Appraisers Inc.
We would like to extend our appreciation to the staff at the Perth site of PSFDH, Connect Well Community Health Clinic in Lanark, The Ottawa University Heart Institute and all the first responders. An extra heart-felt thank you to our beloved Ashley and Whitney, who were also two off duty paramedics who assisted us that night in our time of need. We'd also like to say thanks to Kirk Cannon and Gord Varco for taking care of business in our absence.
