Lepine, Edith Meloa (nee Redl),
August 14th, 1937 - May 2nd , 2026
Edith passed at home in Burgesswood, Perth Ontario, as she wished. She was ready to go and ever confident that the Lord would greet her in the next life. She will be remembered by her extensive family and network of friends from over the years and across the world for her kindness, devotion, and ability to find joy in the simple things.
Edith is survived by her husband Frederick Harvey Lepine and her sister Carolyn Redl; her children Lawrence, Theresa, Brent, Cameron, Kurtis, and Lachlan; Grandchildren Kiera, Laura, Jasmine, Joelle (Lawrence and Debbie), Callen (Brent), Eric, Hailey, Thomas (Cameron and Debbie), Amelia, Liam (Kurtis and Christine), Gus (Lachlan and Anna); and great grandchildren Georgia, Nora, Kestra, Carter and Rory. She will be missed and remembered with love by her son in law Grant and daughters in law Debbie, Debbie, Christine, and Anna. Edith was the heart of her family.
Edith was a mother and wife, a teacher and a volunteer whose faith was the foundation for all she did. She taught Art in Australia, was a relief teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board, and taught English as a second language in Ottawa and in Calgary. She volunteered with refugees in Perth, with Junior Gardeners, and was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for many years.
