Greg, sorry to hear about your mom's passing. Like many, I remember her initially from kindergarten class trying to give us wild kids some sort of structure to move ahead with. Lots of memories of your mom and dad, from high school days, running into them on Lewis Street after church, and their visits to us in Waterloo. Hope you and the kids retain lots of fond memories moving forward.

On behalf of her friends and fellow teaching colleagues please accept our sincere sympathy. She was a member of the Lanark Branch of Entente Education Canada (formerly the Retired Teachers of Ontario) and in her memory our branch will be making a donation to the Entente Foundation. The Foundation funds projects that help to improve the aging experience for Canadians.
On a personal note, I had the pleasure of working with Audrey at The Stewart School, she was a lovely person and teacher.

I was saddened to learn of Audrey’s passing. My sincere condolences go out to her family. I got to know Audrey much better when my mother (Lois Robertson Healey, a first cousin of Audrey) went into Lanark Lifestyles. Audrey was there to welcome her and keep her company, especially during those dark days of Covid. Knowing that Audrey was there to be with Mom certainly helped to put my mind at rest. After Mom’s passing, I kept in touch with Audrey. We had several good visits talking about our shared enjoyment of knitting and crocheting as well as getting caught up on family news. Rest in peace dear Audrey. I am sure you and Mom are having good visits in heaven!

Mrs. Blair (Audrey) was my favourite kindergarten teacher - although I was only at QE for two months before moving to Kingston. I still have the parting gift she and my classmates gave me when I left. Audrey was a lovely person and a friend of the family for many years. My condolences to all the family.
