Obituary of Elizabeth Irene Laming

It is with deep love and sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Elizabeth Irene Laming (nee Tysick) at Stoneridge Manor on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the age of 75. The beloved wife of Raymond Laming and cherished daughter of the late Grant and Mildred Tysick. She is survived by her son, Brandon Laming (Haley) and Dale Wynn (Sylvie). Preceded in death by son Troy.

Survived by siblings Evelyn Argueta-Tysick, Lillian Bell (Dave), Bernice Morris (Dwight), John Tysick (Gina) and her lifetime friend Fern Minor, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of love. Predeceased by her brother Ron Blanchard.

She will be missed by her Grandchildren Max, Rihanna, Landyn, Brooklyn, Jameson, Gage, Stephanie and Great Grandchild Everly Rose. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, and friends who were like family.

Beth loved her family unconditionally and lived a life marked by her deep-rooted faith and commitment to God. Her Calvary Bible Church family will remember her joyful spirit and her love for God’s word. She remained engaged and active until just recently and loved the regular visits from family and friends near and far. She was always up for a good game of cards, shopping trips or putting together an amazing puzzle.

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Stoneridge Manor and Dr. Buckley in Carleton Place that cared for Beth. A special thank you to Pastor Greg and his wife Marion and Malcolm for all your love and support you provided to Beth.

May we wrap ourselves in a blanket of our memories and envision a warm hug from Beth.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a service honouring Beth’s life at the Calvary Bible Church, Friday May 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment to take place at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Brooke. In memory of Beth, donations to Calvary Bible Church would be appreciated.

John 11:25-26

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.”
