Obituary of Blanch Elizabeth Ellenberger (nee Massey)

Peacefully at Moira Place, Tweed, Blanch passed away on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Ellenberger. Mother of Freida Peters, grandmother of Casey Peters and the late Tyler Peters. Great-grandmother of 4. She was the dear sister of Winnie (late Claude Kellar), and sister-in-law of Valda. Blanch was predeceased by her Brothers Vern Massey (Sharon) and Artie Massey. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Tuesday May 19th, 2026 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A graveside ceremony will be held at Ompah Cemetery 9676 Road 509, Ompah at 2:30pm. In honour of Blanch, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
