Obituary of Holly Jacquelyn Voldock

Holly Jacquelyn Voldock
March 15, 1981 – May 25, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of Holly Jacquelyn Voldock on May 25, 2026, at the age of 45.

To know Holly was to love her. She was the pure embodiment of kindness, compassion, and genuine care. Holly had a way of making every person she encountered feel important, valued, and truly seen. Her warmth was magnetic, her smile comforting, and she had a remarkable ability to make people feel at ease and genuinely welcomed.

Holly cared deeply for the people in her life and gave so much of herself to others without hesitation. Whether through her words, her laughter, her support, or simply her ability to listen, she made the world a gentler and more beautiful place for everyone around her. She spread joy effortlessly and touched countless lives in ways that will never be forgotten.

Her sudden passing leaves an unimaginable void in the hearts of all who knew and cherished her. While words cannot fully capture the incredible person Holly was, her legacy of compassion, kindness, and selflessness will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

Holly is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her devoted husband, Mike Voldock; her beloved children, Chloe and Brody; her father, Gene DeCola (June Descalakis); her sisters, Heather Pease (Joseph Rumore) and Lauren Lewis (Frank); her cherished nephew and niece, Jeep and Alyssa Pease; and her aunt, Jackie DeCola.

She is also remembered by former members of the family, including Tommy Pease Sr. and Joanne DeCola.

She will also be cherished by her father-in-law, Paul Voldock; brother-in-law, Sean Voldock (Trudy); sister-in-law, Denise Bridges (Trevor); and her nieces and nephews, Wade, Claire, Rory, and Mason. Holly was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Emily Voldock.

She will be deeply missed by many friends, colleagues, and extended family, all of whom were fortunate to have known her.

A private celebration of Holly’s life will be held for family and close friends at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Holly’s memory to Canadian Mental Health Association, in honour of the generosity, care, and compassion she so freely shared with others throughout her life.

Holly’s life was not measured in years, but in the extraordinary way she valued life, her family, and friends — a legacy that will never be forgotten.
