Obituary of Anne Louise Raycroft

It is with love and sadness that the family of Anne Louise Raycroft announces her peaceful passing on June 5, 2026, at Rideau Ferry Retirement Home in Rideau Ferry, Ontario.

Anne was born on December 27, 1960, in Arnprior, Ontario, to Melvin Gordon Raycroft and Lois Winnifred Raycroft. She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers Gorden, Douglas, Donald, and John; and by the many beloved cats who brought her companionship and joy throughout her life.

She will be deeply missed by her fiancé, Brian Black, and by her dear friends, including Denise Carpenter and Diane MacPherson. Anne will be fondly remembered by her Aunt Doreen Mainse, sister-in-law Mary Beth Raycroft, her niece Erin Brown (Jeffrey), her nephew Scott Raycroft (AJ), and her great-nephews and great-niece Levi, Grayson, Madden, Noah, and Lily.

Anne’s family is grateful for the care and kindness shown to her. She will be remembered with warmth by those who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore Street West, Perth, on Wednesday, June 17, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her memorial service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, all are welcome to join the family for a reception and time of fellowship in the reception centre.
