Obituary of Michael Joseph Reynolds

Peacefully at the Perth Site of the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital, Michael passed away on July 2nd, 2026 with his loving family by his side at the age of 56. He was the cherished brother of Cindy (Randy Strong) and the proud uncle of Megan (Nick Derbyshire) and Brandon Ferguson. Michael was the treasured great-uncle of Blake and Addi. He will be fondly remembered by his many cousins, aunts, uncles, hunting & fishing buddies along with many extended family members. Michael was predeceased by his parents Archie and Arlie (nee Dowdell) Reynolds.

He found his greatest peace on the shores of Crow Lake, where countless hours were spent casting a line, enjoying the quiet, and making lasting memories with family and friends. A proud sheet metal worker, he took great pride in his trade and embraced the opportunity to travel throughout his career, enjoying the people, places, and experiences his work brought him. Whether on the job or by the water, he appreciated life's simple pleasures and will be remembered for his hard-working spirit, adventurous nature, and deep love of the outdoors.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held at a later date. In honour of him, memorial contributions to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
