Obituary of Dorothy Madeline “Madeline” Jordan, RN (nee Grace)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the age of 91.  She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Lawrence Jordan.  Dear sister of Frances Shane (late Arnold) and Helen Grace.  She was predeceased by her parents John F. Grace and Mary Kennedy and her brothers Hugh (Kaye), Jim, Leonard (Norma) and Gerald.  She was also predeceased by Lawrence’s siblings, Edwin, Patrick, Francis (Marie), Leonard, Leo (Thecla) and Kathleen (Gus Fitzgerald).  Survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy (Al) Schulte and Sheila Jordan (Pat).  She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Special thanks to Dr. Argue and staff at the Smiths Falls Hospital ICU for their care and compassion.

A funeral mass will take place at Blessed Sacrament Church, Lombardy, on July 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at the Parish Cemetery.  Family and friends are then invited to a reception at the Smiths Falls Legion, 7 Main Street East, Smiths Falls.
