Obituary of Catherine Ann Williams
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine “Katie” Williams, who passed away peacefully at Brockville General Hospital on July 28, 2026, at the age of 84, with her adoring niece, Patti Young, by her side.
Born on December 14, 1941, Katie lived a life marked by kindness, loyalty, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Family was at the heart of everything she did, and she treasured the many relationships that enriched her life over the years.
Katie is lovingly remembered by her sister, Theresa Hogan (late Bill). She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Charles and Cora Williams, her brothers, Joseph (late Audrey) and Charles (Betty), and her sister, Mary Brady (late Pat).
Katie shared a special and cherished friendship with her dear friend, Joanne Finnegan, whose companionship brought her great joy through the years.
She will be profoundly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members, all of whom were touched by her warm heart, gentle spirit, and steadfast love. Katie will always be remembered for the loyalty she showed to her family and friends, her caring nature, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Brockville General Hospital. Your exceptional care, kindness, and support during Katie’s final days will never be forgotten. Thank you for being truly amazing.
Though Katie’s presence will be deeply missed, her love, strength, and devotion to family and friends will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to comfort and inspire those she held dear.
Friends are invited to join the family for Katie’s memorial mass at St. John’s Catholic Church 38 Wilson St. E. Perth, on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 at 11:00am. Interment will take place at St. John’s Parish Cemetery, followed by a reception at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth. In honour of Katie, memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
