I worked as an Operating Engineer for MetLife and got to know Tom @ the " Computer/Data Centre on Walkley Road in Ottawa. Just a down to earth fellow who put everyone at ease with his calm demeanor and easy going disposition Remember his amazing artwork, and a round of golf ( he took no prisoner with me out on the green !! ) Lol Condolences to all, RIP Tom !

I met Art 20+ years ago at Hilltop Manor where my mom lived in Merrickville. We became friends and I visited Art and Ruth several times in there home in Easton’s Corners. I purchased quite a few of Arts beautiful paintings. He was a very nice man and looked after Ruth so well. My deepest condolences to Art's Family, and to Lillian. I knew Art & Lillian through the Merrickville dances. We all knew at one point during the evening he would play his "invisible guitar" while on the dance floor. He will be missed.
