In Loving Memory of Bob
Dear Lisa and Bonnie,
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to both of you on the sudden loss of your dear dad, Bob.
I first met Bob when I was just 18 years old in Sudbury. I have so many wonderful memories of those early days, sitting on the front porch of my girlfriend’s house, chatting and laughing. Bob invited us to join their evening games on more than one occasion, which made those nights even more special.
Over the years, Bob became so much more than a friend. He was my husband’s best friend and had the great honour of being the best man at our wedding. When we later lived in North Bay, we continued to share so many family gatherings, celebrations and special moments together. Bob was always a part of our family and remained someone very dear to us throughout the years.
Bob truly had a heart of gold. He was thoughtful, caring and generous, and he always had a way of making you feel special. There are so many wonderful memories we shared, and I will always treasure every conversation, every laugh and every moment.
I feel especially blessed and lucky that I had the opportunity to spend the last week with you in Sudbury. Those memories are now even more precious to me, and I will cherish them forever.
Bob, I will miss you dearly. Thank you for 52 years of friendship, memories and for being such a special part of our lives. You will never be forgotten and will always hold a special place in my heart.
