Obituary of Christine Vanstone

Christine Vanstone-Larivière 

1958-2026

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Christine Vanstone-Larivière announces her passing at the Perth Hospital on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the age of 68 with family at her side. 

A resident of Gatineau, Chris will be deeply missed by her mother Mary Vanstone, her children Courtney, Jeff, her grandchildren, Alyra, Raidyn, Arya, and Mannix. Remembered by her step sister Sandy, her stepdaughters Annie (Maxime), Karyne and step grandson Benjamin. Fondly remembered by many relatives and lifelong friends.

Chris was predeceased by her beloved husband Jean Lariviere, her father Gary Vanstone and granddaughter Kalyana Christine Gremli. 

Chris worked in the health care profession for many years. 

Christine will be remembered for her smiles,  lengthy friendships and love of life with her husband, family and those who knew her and loved her. 

As per the wishes of Christine a private family gathering will be held as a celebration of her life at a later date. Christine’s final resting place will take place as per her final wishes in Nova Scotia.
