Obituary of Nellie Agnes Florence Larabie

It is with great sadness that the family of Nellie Agnes Florence Larabie (née Tysick) announces her passing.

Nellie was the beloved wife of the late Arnold Larabie and the cherished mother of Eldon (deceased), Dave (Marie), Bruce (Cathy), and Brian (Marlene). She was the proud grandmother of Derek, Andre, Katherine, Matthew, Gregory, and Laurie, and a loving great-grandmother to her ten great-grandchildren. Nellie was the daughter of the late Norman Tysick and Selina (née Dobson) Tysick. She was predeceased by her brothers Alfred (the late Alice), Conrad (Christine), Wilfred (Mildred), Arnold, and Roy (the late Joan). Nellie will be lovingly remembered by her family and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Nellie enjoyed keeping her hands busy with knitting, sewing, and crafting. She also fondly enjoyed her time square dancing with her friend Mark. These simple pleasures brought her much happiness over the years and reflected her creative and spirited nature.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 10:00-11:30AM. A service will be held for Nellie  in the funeral home's chapel at 11:30AM, with reception to follow in the funeral home reception centre.

In memory of Nellie, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by her family.
